LOGOS POLYTECHNIKOS

LOGOS POLYTECHNIKOS is a university peer-reviewed journal, which serves for publishing activities of academic staff of the College of Polytechnic Jihlava and other colleges, universities and research organizations. It is listed in the ERIH PLUS - European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences.

From 2010 to 2018, the journal was published four times a year in electronic and print formats. Since 2019, it has been published three times a year in an electronic version. The editorial board of the journal consists of internal and external experts. The position of the editor-in-chief is held by the Vice-Rector for Creative and Project Activities of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. The function of responsible editors of individual issues belongs to the heads of departments of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. All published articles are subject to peer review and are carefully edited.

The thematic and content focus of the journal reflects the needs of the disciplinary departments of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. Based on the approval of the editor-in-chief, the departments may also provide publication space to experts without an employment link to the College of Polytechnics Jihlava.

The journal can publish professional articles, essays, overview studies, reviews and other types of professional contributions in Czech, Slovak and English. Papers are accepted for review according to the thematic focus of the journal and formally edited according to the editorial template (see below).

2/2025 - nursing, midwifery and other health care disciplines, sociology, sport, psychology, social work (30 April 2025)
3/2025 - economics, management, marketing, statistics, operations research, financial mathematics, insurance, tourism, regional development, public administration (31 Aug 2025)

If the volume of submissions received exceeds the capacity of the respective issue, the acceptance of submissions will be closed before the stated deadline.
