LOGOS POLYTECHNIKOS is a peer-reviewed academic journal serving as a platform for the publication of work by academic staff at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava and other universities and research organisations. It is listed in the ERIH PLUS - European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences.

From 2010 to 2018, the journal was published four times a year in electronic and print formats. Since 2019, it has been published three times a year in electronic format. The journal’s editorial board comprises both internal and external experts. The position of editor-in-chief is held by the Vice-Rector for Creative and Project Activities at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. The roles of editors-in-charge for individual issues are held by the heads of departments at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. All published articles undergo a peer-review process and are carefully edited.

The journal’s thematic and content focus reflects the needs of the specialist departments at the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. With the approval of the editor-in-charge, the departments may also provide publication space to experts who are not employed by the College of Polytechnics Jihlava.

The journal accepts academic articles, essays, review articles, book reviews and other types of academic contributions in Czech, Slovak and English. Contributions that are thematically relevant to the journal’s focus and formatted in accordance with the editorial template (see below) will be accepted for peer review.

1/2026 – nursing, midwifery and other health care disciplines (31 December 2025)
2/2026 – nursing, midwifery and other health care disciplines, sociology, sport, psychology, social work (30 April 2026)
3/2026 – economics, management, marketing, statistics, operations research, financial mathematics, insurance, tourism, regional development, public administration (31 August 2026)

If the number of submissions received exceeds the capacity of the relevant issue, the call for papers will close before the stated deadline.
